Dammie was born in Amsterdam from a simple frustration: great-looking sunglasses rarely protected your eyes the way they should, and frames that did the job rarely looked the part.

So we made our own. Every Dammie frame is cut and hand-finished from Italian Mazzucchelli acetate, polished over days, and fitted with category-3 UV400 lenses. The result is eyewear that feels like it disappears on your face — and lenses you can actually trust.

We name each model after the streets and canals we grew up around — the Vijzel, the Singel, the Kalverstraat. They're a small love letter to the city that shaped us.
